#49- Is God Small Enough? : When Our Perspectives Differ
We don’t do small very well. Small tends to mean insignificant or “less than.” And bigger is better, right? Maybe. Or maybe God’s perspective is a little bit different than ours. Maybe God cherishes the small. Dare I say, prefers the small. Sure, God’s “big enough,” but is He “small enough” too? Is it okay to say that?
Yes, yes it is. So, let’s chat about when God’s perspective differs from ours, and why that’s a very good thing! We’ll take a big look into 2 Samuel 22:36.
Here’s a small excerpt:
“Like an attentive parent, He stoops down to hear your stories, your heartaches, kiss your boo-boos and scoop you up. Because only a big God could choose to be small enough to stoop down to make you great, to make me great.”
